The Ottawa Salvation Army food pantry assists those that may need help, and will supply grocery parcels based on family size.
If you are visiting us for the first time, you will need to provide us with proof of residence and a social security or medical card for everyone in the family. We also need proof of income and will ask for you to fill out a short intake form.
You will then be eligible to receive groceries once every 60 days. Our pantry is available Monday from 12 pm -4 pm and Tuesday from 9am - 1 pm.
Thrift Store Vouchers
We are able to provide clothing vouchers to our thrift store. You will need to fill out an intake form and show why you need clothing assistance. You will also need to have proof of everyone in the family.
For more information, please stop by our office from 12 noon - 4 pm Monday and 9 am - 1 pm Tuesday.
Clothing vouchers are only good for items in the store, are only issued on Mondays and Wednesdays and they need to be used the same day. Vouchers are issued once per year. Other vouchers may be available on a case by case instance, so for more information, please stop by our office.
